The Mont Ventoux
THE GIANT OF PROVENCE
The Mont Ventoux, a giant of 1912 m which dominates Provence and from which, in good weather, you can see the Mediterranean to the South, the great summits of the Alps to the North. Mythical pass for cyclists (home of the Tour de France 2021), pedestrian ascent to admire the sunrise, numerous hiking trails, Mont Serein ski resort in winter, classified as a Biosphere reserve by UNESCO, and Regional Natural Park in 2020.

The Gorges de la Nesque
SPECTACULAR
One of the most spectacular gorges in Provence. A grandiose and wild canyon, where fantastic rocks rise up. It is a passage very used by cyclists and tourists who appreciate it for its great beauty and its unspoiled nature. The 65 km of gorges start south of Monieux at an altitude of 625 meters, and end at the foot of the small village of Méthamis, at an altitude of around 270 meters.

Carpentras
MARKETS AND SHOPPING
In its pedestrian streets and in its shaded squares, Carpentras delivers its architectural riches (Saint-Siffrein cathedral, Orange gate, courthouse, oldest synagogue in Europe, belfry, halls, covered street) and its many shops: several quality bookstores as well as decoration stores not to mention the famous Jouvaud pastry shop. City of Art and History, Carpentras was the capital of Comtat Venaissin and was for five centuries under papal administration. Provencal market on Friday morning, classified as an exceptional market. Every Sunday, second-hand dealers offer you their treasures.

Isle sur la Sorgue is a small town with incomparable charm for its flea markets and its art of living. 7 "antique dealers' villages" and more than 350 antique dealers and second-hand shops open all year round from Thursday to Sunday and on public holidays. The lavender roads
IN THE LAND OF SAULT
From the beginning of July, the lavender and lavandin fields of the Pays de Sault amaze visitors from all over the world.

Sénanque Abbey
GORDES, LUBERON
Notre-Dame de Sénanque is a Cistercian abbey; The harmonious and pure lines of the Abbey of Sénanque make it one of the jewels of Romanesque art. Founded in 1148 by Cistercian monks from the Abbey of Mazan in Vivarais, it is a vestige of primitive Cistercian architecture. The Abbey of Sénanque was abandoned for a time, then a new small community of monks returned in 1988, thus reviving centuries of Cistercian tradition. In summer, the lavender fields give the abbey a very special character.
